ABOUT
Trevor Ames is a highly accomplished television and feature film editor based in Los Angeles, California. With over a decade of editing experience, he has worked on a wide range of shows and projects, spanning multiple genres and styles, like comedy, animation, documentary, and magic. Some of his most notable work includes editing for the popular Netflix series Magic for Humans, the animated show Alpha Betas, and the ABC nature comedy series When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren.
Trevor is also best known for his collaborations with comedian and writer Brent Weinbach, with whom he has shot and edited on numerous projects over the years. Their most famous collaboration is the viral hit video Gangster Party Line, which has garnered over 10 million views to date.
Throughout his career, Trevor has had the opportunity to work with some of the most influential studios and production companies in the entertainment industry. These include Abso Lutely Productions, Gorilla Flicks, Bento Box, among others.
He recently started directing, most notably for the popular web-series Pound House (produced by Jack Black) and a soon to be released comedy special produced by Abso Lutely Prod. and Upright Citizens Brigade.
He is known for his exceptional attention to detail and tone, all around chill demeanor, and his unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
When Trevor isn’t editing he can be found nerding out on Los Angeles history, sequencing music, or renting movies at a video store.
